guess you people have heard bout those conmen who called and tricked people?
i met one such bastard today.
as i was happily browsing through humanpets,
my handphone rang,
so i picked up and this guy over at the other line said," are you amanda? i'm calling from clementi police station."
he go on telling me i'm involved in a theft case back in 2006 at siloso beach, sentosa.
he continue by assurring my full name, my ic number, my address and my birthday,and keep on asking me to assist him with the case by going down to the police station.
it's funny, i've not know the person who he claimed to make the report,
let along study in NAFA and most importantly, i didn't go to siloso beach in 2006!!!!
when i told him i did not do anything,
he will ask me wait while he check his records!
WTH. I'M TOTALLY PISSED!
he insisted i go down and meet him for assisting.
i passed the fone to my dad and my dad tell him tat if the guy were to ask me go down,
he was to get the police car and fetch me over with my dad going with me too.
tat so called police said he would make arrangements and hang up abruptly.
thank god my dad was around or i'll go there as told.
=/
DAMN.
tat so called police was a fake!
if not, why am i still here to type this whole hilarious incident to you guys?=p
just wanted to share my experience to people around..
be careful of all these conmen,
once they got hold of ya handphone number,
they will have all your details too!
technology are so advanced now, isn't it?
